The Hospitals of Providence in El Paso seeks BE/BC orthopedic surgeons with fellowship in Total Joint or Spine to join a busy, multi-specialty group. Employed position with salary guarantee and strong support staff, including access to advanced robotics and navigation technology.

Qualifications

• Be/board-certified in orthopedic surgery.
• Fellowship trained in total joint or spine.
• Active TX medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic surgical care with a focus in Total Joint or Spine.
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with shared call 5–6 days per month and one weekend per month.
• Balance outpatient and inpatient care (about 60% outpatient, 40% inpatient).
• Manage approximately 20 clinic patients per day and 8–10 surgeries per week.
• Operate at a high-volume hospital with access to Mako, CORI, and Stealth technology.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty group and support growth and teaching as desired.

Position Highlights

• Orthopedic Surgery position with focus in Total Joint or Spine
• Employed position within an established, multi-specialty orthopedic group
• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Shared call schedule with approximately 5–6 days per month and one weekend per month
• Mix of approximately 60% outpatient and 40% inpatient care
• Average 20 patients per clinic day
• 8–10 surgical cases per week to start
• Practice based primarily at a 480-bed hospital performing the highest surgical volume in the market
• Opportunity to operate at a secondary facility located within close proximity
• Access to advanced technology including Mako robotic system, CORI robot, and Stealth navigation system
• Three established clinic locations across the El Paso market
• Academic involvement available but not required
