Job summary

WellSpan Health in York, PA is seeking an Orthopedic Oncologist to join an employed practice. The candidate must have an MD/DO, complete an orthopedics residency, and be ABOS board-certified or board-eligible.

The role offers a strong support network and teaching opportunities within WellSpan’s ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program. Join a multidisciplinary team with close alignment to medical and radiation oncology and advanced diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with residency in Orthopedic Surgery and board certification or eligibility.
• Licensed physician to practice upon hire.
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of WellSpan hospitals upon hire.
• Teaching skills are preferred.
• Knowledge of emergency medicine and occupational medicine is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Join a multidisciplinary team aligned with medical oncology, radiation oncology, and advanced diagnostic imaging.
• Engage in teaching roles through WellSpan’s Orthopedic Surgery residency program.
• Provide orthopedic oncology care within WellSpan’s employed practice in York, PA.
• Collaborate with oncology partners including Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Responsibilities

Orthopedic Oncologist needed to join our employed practice in York, PA. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD degree and have completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery. Must be ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine upon hire
• Certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery required upon hire
• Completion of an appropriate residency program required upon hire
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of one or more WellSpan hospitals upon hire
