WellSpan Health is seeking an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our Gettysburg/Hanover practice. Candidate must have an MD, complete Orthopedic Surgery residency, and fellowship in Hand/Upper Extremity. Board certification or eligibility is required.

The role is employed with WellSpan Medical Group, with 1:6 call, several OR days weekly, and access to a state‑of‑the‑art surgery center. Competitive compensation, signing bonus, relocation, and CME support are offered.

Job description

WellSpan Medical Group (WMG) is seeking an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our growing practice in Gettysburg/Hanover. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with a Doctor of Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Orthopedic Surgery and fellowship training in Hand/Upper Extremity. He or she must also be Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Position Highlights

• Employed position with WMG
• General orthopedic call of 1:6
• 1 - 2 OR days/week
• State‑of‑the‑art surgery center in Hanover
  • Among the largest and most technologically advanced outpatient surgery centers in the region
• Large referral base of WMG family and internal medicine physicians
• Excellent support (each surgeon has 2 MAs)
