Job summary
WellSpan Health in York, PA is seeking an Orthopedic Oncologist to join an employed practice. The candidate must have an MD/DO, complete an orthopedics residency, and be ABOS board-certified or board-eligible.
The role offers a strong support network and teaching opportunities within WellSpan’s ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program. Join a multidisciplinary team with close alignment to medical and radiation oncology and advanced diagnostic imaging.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with residency in Orthopedic Surgery and board certification or eligibility.
- Licensed physician to practice upon hire.
- Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of WellSpan hospitals upon hire.
- Teaching skills are preferred.
- Knowledge of emergency medicine and occupational medicine is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Join a multidisciplinary team aligned with medical oncology, radiation oncology, and advanced diagnostic imaging.
- Engage in teaching roles through WellSpan’s Orthopedic Surgery residency program.
- Provide orthopedic oncology care within WellSpan’s employed practice in York, PA.
- Collaborate with oncology partners including Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center.
