Job summary

CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in the TN/GA market invites a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join a newly established practice in Chattanooga area. You will provide comprehensive orthopedic care within a physician-led, faith-based system with access to advanced technology and a strong referral network.

You will participate in a 1-in-7 call rotation, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to clinical excellence, education, and patient-centered care while

Qualifications

  • MD/DO from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Ability to obtain unrestricted medical licenses in Tennessee and Georgia.
  • AHA BLS.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced surgical procedures across general orthopedic surgeries.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a comprehensive array of conditions for diverse patient needs.
  • Ensure patient-centered care with empathetic communication and clear explanations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, referring physicians, and rehabilitation specialists.
  • Maintain clinical excellence and robust medical documentation; participate in 1-in-7 call rotation.
  • Pursue ongoing medical education, quality initiatives, and professional development.
  • Contribute to a collegial work environment and uphold mission and values of CommonSpirit Memorial.
  • Leverage cutting-edge technology and a robust referral network in a newly established practice.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon, you will join our newly established orthopedic practice in the TN / GA market at CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital. You will deliver comprehensive orthopedic care, diagnosing, treating, and managing conditions for diverse patient needs. Your schedule will include participation in a 1-in-7 call rotation, ensuring balanced coverage and support.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with a strong commitment to clinical superiority and patient-centered care.

  • Maintaining clinical excellence by adhering to best practices, robustly participating in the 1-in-7 call rotation, and upholding accurate medical documentation.
  • Committing to professional growth through active engagement in ongoing medical education, quality initiatives, and professional development.
  • Contributing to a collegial work environment and upholding the mission and values of CommonSpirit Memorial.
  • Leveraging cutting-edge technology and a robust referral network within our newly established practice.

Job Requirements

Required

  • MD / DO from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical licenses in Tennessee and Georgia
  • AHA BLS

Preferred

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of post-residency experience preferred, but exceptional new graduates will be considered
