Job summary

Providence Swedish First Hill in Seattle is seeking a Central Services Technician to perform decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments. The role includes assembling case carts, stocking supplies, and ensuring accurate documentation within the Instrument Tracking System.

The ideal candidate completes a Central Services Technician course (or passes the required test) and has or is willing to gain related experience in sterile processing.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Central Services Technician course or successfully challenged Course test.
• 1 year of related experience with surgical instrumentation in hospital Sterile Processing/Central Services environment is preferred.
• Materials management and/or supply chain experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and assemble surgical instrumentation.
• Assemble and deliver surgical/interventional procedure case carts.
• Par, order, and replenish soft supplies in the surgical core.
• Operate instrument tracking system and document sterility parameters accurately.
• Follow department policies and assist with coverage on weekends and across campuses.
