Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Central Services Technician to manage decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation. You will assemble case carts, par and replenish materials, and operate the Instrument Tracking System to ensure accuracy and sterility.

You will support multiple campuses, cover varying weekend shifts, and collaborate with the Lead Central Service Technician and Materials Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Central Services Technician course or successfully challenged Course test.
• 1 year of related experience preferred in sterile processing/Central Services.
• Experience with instrument tracking systems and electronic handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and assemble surgical instrumentation.
• Assemble and deliver interventional procedure case carts.
• Par and replenish soft supplies in the surgical core.
• Operate Instrument Tracking System; verify sterility and document parameters.
• Work with Lead Central Service Technician and Materials Coordinator.
• Provide weekend coverage and cross-campus support.
