Job summary

UC Irvine Health is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible orthopedic spine surgeon to develop an elective surgical practice at UCI Health community sites and provide spine coverage.

The ideal candidate will have fellowship training, California licensure eligibility, and a proven commitment to quality improvement and patient care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and board-certified or eligible.
• California licensure eligibility is required.
• DEA certification active.
• Fellowship completed.
• Experience in spine surgery and leadership in quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent clinical care.
• Cover orthopedic spine surgery at UCI community sites.
• Build and expand an elective surgical clinical practice.
• Collaborate with faculty, residents, and staff in a team-based environment.
• Adhere to UC policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
