Job summary

Yale New Haven Health System is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or Physician Assistant) to join the Orthopedic Spine team serving the Greater New Haven area. The outpatient spine practice focuses on comprehensive, patient-centered care and works closely with experienced surgeons and a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers a four-day workweek with four 10-hour shifts, no on-call or holiday coverage, and a strong onboarding program within a large academic health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current PA/NP licensure (Connecticut) and applicable certifications.
• Clinical experience in the specialty is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and manage patient needs as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on care and resources.
• Document accurately according to hospital and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain professional standards and contribute to quality management and safety.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to others as needed.
