Job summary

University of Vermont Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Ambulatory Orthopedics and Sports Clinic as Clinical Coordinator II. You will lead coordination with orthopedic surgeons, support both surgical and non-surgical patient care, and help patients regain mobility through hands-on coordination and education.

Prior orthopedic and scheduling experience is preferred, with 1–3 years in hospital or office nursing. Berlin, VT.

Qualifications

• Orthopedic experience with direct patient care to include surgical scheduling, patient education, casting/splinting, wound care preferred.
• One to three years of hospital nursing experience or office nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical lead support and collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and APPs.
• Support both surgical and non-surgical patient care to improve mobility and quality of life.
• Build strong relationships with patients and families through education and hands-on coordination.
• Coordinate scheduling and care plans to streamline patient flow in ambulatory orthopedics.
