Job summary

CVMC - Orthopedic, Spine & Podiatry in Berlin, Vermont seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time day shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to join our Orthopedic, Spine & Podiatry team. You will provide hands-on nursing care for surgical and non-surgical patients, coordinate scheduling, educate patients, and support cast/splinting and wound care.

This position offers a collaborative environment with orthopedic surgeons and advanced practice providers, a standard 40-hour week, and biweekly

Qualifications

• Orthopedic experience with direct patient care including surgical scheduling, patient education, casting/splinting, wound care preferred.
• One to three years of hospital or office nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care for surgical and non-surgical orthopedic patients.
• Coordinate scheduling and education for patients undergoing procedures.
• Support casting/splinting and wound care as part of the care team.
• Build and maintain strong patient relationships within a fast-paced team.
