Qualifications

• Current and valid State RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• BSN preferred.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel in the Physical Rehabilitation Department.
• Remains accountable for care given to assigned patients and responds quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
