Qualifications

• Current valid State Registered Nurse License.
• Critical Care Course preferred.
• BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and guide patient/family education.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality and ensure standard of care.
