Job summary

OrthoCarolina South Park seeks a Radiology Technologist to provide diagnostic radiographs while upholding radiation safety standards and protecting patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program approved by ARRT and AMA.
• Minimum of one year experience as an x-ray tech with an orthopedic background.
• ARRT registration or registry eligibility required.
• CPR certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Position radiologic procedures per departmental policy.
• Explain procedures to patients, obtain history, and answer questions.
• Set exposure factors and ensure radiation safety for different exams.
• Log completed procedures and related paperwork in the computer system.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies in the radiology department.
• Assist with patient transport and workflow within the radiology module.
