Job summary

OrthoCarolina Huntersville is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist to provide diagnostic radiographs for physicians. You will position patients, select exposure factors, and ensure radiation safety according to policy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program approved by ARRT/AMA.
• Minimum of one year experience as an x-ray tech with orthopedic background.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist by ARRT or registry eligible.
• Current CPR certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select exposure factors for radiologic examinations.
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and address questions.
• Log radiologic procedures and manage related paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness of examination rooms and stock supplies.
• Ensure safety and radiation protection per policy.
• Assist with patient transport and manage patient flow in radiology.
