Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with strong orthopedic and manual skills to join our team in Utah. The PTA will work under a Licensed Physical Therapist, performing therapeutic procedures, assisting evaluations, and documenting patient progress in a patient-centered, collaborative environment.

Qualified candidates will have an APTA-accredited PTA program, at least an associate degree, and eligibility for the State Board examination.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited PTA program.
• Minimum of an associate degree.
• Eligible for State Board examination.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Perform selected physical therapy procedures and tasks.
• Administer treatment with therapeutic exercises, massage, devices, and modalities.
• Modify treatment plans within the plan of care.
• Assist with evaluations and document progress.
• Supervising PT will assess PTA performance.
• Do not interpret referrals or discharge patients without supervision.
