Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver patient-centered outpatient care across our multi-centre network.

You must have an APTA-accredited PTA program credential, an associate degree, and be eligible for State Board examination and licensing. The role emphasizes collaborative, multimodal care and a commitment to quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an APTA accredited therapy assistant program.
• Associates degree minimum and eligibility for State Board Examination.
• Must pass the licensing exam to continue practice beyond a temporary license.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients only under the direction of a Physical Therapist as defined by State law.
• Perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks as delegated by the Supervising PT.
• Administer treatments with therapeutic exercise, massage, devices, and agents (air, water, electricity, sound or light).
• Make minor modifications to treatment plans within the plan of care and document progress.
• Assist the PT with evaluations and progress documentation.
