Job summary

Nebraska Orthopaedic Center, PC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic and rehabilitation team. This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and collaboration with licensed Physical Therapists, physicians, and therapy staff.

The PTA will implement individualized treatment plans, guide therapeutic exercises, and help patients regain mobility and an active lifestyle in a supportive, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Valid Nebraska Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility).
• Outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, endurance, and function.
• Apply modalities and manual techniques to support recovery and pain management.
• Observe, measure, and document patient progress; communicate updates to supervising PT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe movement strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation; contribute to a positive clinic culture.
