Illinois Bone and Joint Institute (IBJI) is hiring a Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for its Jefferson Park location. You will work under licensed Physical Therapists to deliver outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold an accredited PTA degree and Illinois licensure with CPR certification. IBJI offers competitive pay, a three-month ramp, mentoring, and ongoing education

Qualifications

• PTA program completion and active Illinois license.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast paced outpatient setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand/sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans under the supervising physical therapist.
• Provide outpatient orthopedic care and document patient status per guidelines.
• Communicate progress to physicians and co-sign treatment notes.
• Supervise rehabilitation technicians and administrative staff as needed.
• Maintain compliance with daily paperwork and billing policies.
