Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, LLC (IBJI) is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for the St. Joseph - Sheridan location.

Full-time role with advancement opportunities, mentoring, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401K, and education support. The position requires an accredited PTA program graduate with a current Illinois license, CPR certification, and the ability to lift 25+ pounds in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Holds current Illinois license to practice.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to lift more than 25 pounds.
• Able to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the physical therapist including progression toward functional goals.
• Provide exceptional care for patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Document patient status per IBJI Rehab guidelines.
• Communicate with physicians and supervise PT regarding assessment and plan.
• Supervise Rehabilitation Technicians and administrative staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation and billing compliance.
