Advanced Physical Therapy in Metro Detroit is seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Technician to support licensed therapists and help keep the outpatient clinic running smoothly. You will greet patients, assist with patient care, monitor therapeutic exercises, and ensure a clean, safe environment.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and flexibility with hours. Prior PT setting experience is preferred, and you will coordinate care from evaluation through discharge.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a medical or physical therapy setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and assist therapists with patient care.
• Flexibility with work hours and availability.
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Team player attitude with an energetic focus on providing the best care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service.
• Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans.
• Administer hot and cold packs and monitor therapeutic exercises.
• Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a clean, safe clinic environment.
• Coordinate care for each patient from initial evaluation to discharge.
• Answer phones and manage electronic scheduling.
• Handle administrative tasks, including faxing, filing, and other duties as assigned.
