Job summary

Advanced Physical Therapy in Michigan is seeking a passionate Part-Time Physical Therapist to join our team. You will assess patients, develop and initiate treatment plans, and deliver high-quality care to promote recovery and well-being.

You will document progress, supervise assistants, and craft comprehensive plans of care while communicating with patients, caregivers, physicians and insurers to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• MI license and CPR certification required.
• Ability to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehab plans or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently in an autonomous environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
