Advanced Physical Therapy in the Metro Detroit area is seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Technician to join our outpatient orthopedic clinic. You will support physical therapists, help manage patient care, and ensure smooth clinic operations.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, assisting in treatment plans, applying basic modalities, maintaining equipment, coordinating care from evaluation to discharge, and handling scheduling and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a medical or physical therapy setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and assist therapists with patient care.
• Flexibility with work hours and availability.
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Team player attitude with an energetic focus on providing the best care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service.
• Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans.
• Administer hot and cold packs and monitor therapeutic exercises.
• Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a clean, safe clinic environment.
• Coordinate care for each patient from initial evaluation to discharge.
• Answer phones and manage electronic scheduling.
• Handle administrative tasks, including faxing, filing, and other duties as assigned.
