MPOWER Physical Therapy in Franklin, TN seeks a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team as a part-time Day shift provider. Work with physical therapists and trainers to deliver safe, medically supervised massage therapy to clients and patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Current certification through an accredited Massage Therapy program.
• Current Massage Therapist license valid in Tennessee.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum one year of professional massage therapy experience; healthcare setting preferred.
• Engage in professional development and maintain affiliations.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy; orthopedics advantageous.
• Neat, professional appearance with a helpful demeanor.
• Calmly handle difficult situations and communicate effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong follow-up skills.
• Organized and able to multitask while maintaining confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Proficient with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat clients, and complete documentation in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain a set number of massage hours per week as determined by MPOWER management.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for meetings, with a minimum of 20 hours weekly.
• Integrate MPOWER services (PT, personal training, nutrition) into client care.
• Communicate with physical therapists and other referral sources about patient progress.
• Manage administrative tasks, including ensuring sessions are paid and emails are checked daily.
• Track and follow up with clients after each massage to promote retainment.
• Record massage hours daily using MPOWER’s software; PRN time paid for massage, room flip, and meeting time.
• Contribute to recruitment and training as needed.
• Submit accurate and timely tip reports.
• Communicate time off at least one month in advance and schedule clients with other therapists.

Job Details: Job Location: Franklin - Elite - Franklin, TN 37067, Position Type: Part Time, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Health Care, MPOWER Physical Therapy uses a multi-disciplinary approach that includes orthopedics, physical & occupational therapy, personal training, massage therapy, and nutrition services to provide our patients & clients with great resources to help them reach their optimal level of wellness.

The Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) role at MPOWER Physical Therapy is designed for individuals who value long-term stability, ease of access to referrals, and organic collaboration. LMTs work with physical therapists and personal trainers to provide safe, medically supervised, and collaborative massage therapy to our clients & patients.

Part-time LMTs (>20 hours/week) can receive a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, licensure reimbursement, and more.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Understand, implement, and uphold the MPOWER model
• Evaluate, treat clients, and complete documentation in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain a set number of massage hours per week set by MPOWER management
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the facility (including availability for all team and individual meetings) and a minimum of 20 weekly hours
• Integrate other MPOWER services into client care including physical therapy, personal training, nutrition, and collaboration with these and any other referring providers
• Communicate with physical therapists and other referral sources regarding the treatment and progress of their patients and clients
• Manage administrative tasks consistently including but not limited to ensuring all client sessions are paid for and checked out and check company email daily
• Manage, track, and follow up with clients after each massage to ensure retainment of clients
• Keep accurate record of massage hours via MPOWER’s administrative software daily; PRN massage therapists will be compensated for massage, room flip, and meeting time only
• Play an active role in recruitment and training as needed
• Submit accurate and timely tip reporting
• Communicate time off at least one month in advance and ensure all clients are scheduled to work with other massage therapists

Qualifications: KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred
• Current certification through an accredited program of Massage Therapy
• Current Massage Therapists license is valid in the state of Tennessee
• CPR certification is required
• Minimum one year of professional massage therapy experience required; experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
• Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations
• Excellent knowledge in physiology and working knowledge of human anatomy and orthopedics
• Neat, professional appearance along with kind and helpful personality
• Handle difficult situations in a calm and professional manner
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent follow up skills with clients and fellow team members
