Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a dynamic Physical Therapist for our Mount Prospect location. You will provide outpatient rehabilitation with a focus on orthopedic cases, supported by a collaborative care model with physicians.

Experience with hockey and overhead athletes is preferred; coordination with HPI trainers and athletes on-site is expected. IBJI offers abundant professional development, group mentoring, and access to a wide range of specialty groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Licensed or eligible to sit for boards in Illinois.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Exceptional patient care.
• Interprets physician orders, performs initial evaluations and establishes treatment plans and functional goals.
• Writes documentation on patient status to physicians per compliance guidelines.
• Determine discharge timeline and follow-up.
• Supervision of Rehabilitation Technicians and staff as needed.
• Maintain billing compliance and accurate documentation.
• Maintain active state license with CEUs through IBJI opportunities.
• Develop positive relationships with physician teams and participate in care planning.
