Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Fort Worth, TX seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide medically prescribed therapy to alleviate pain, restore function, and prevent disability. You will assess, design and adjust treatment plans, and guide patients through exercises and mobility strategies.

Utilize modalities such as ultrasound, diathermy, whirlpools, and contrast baths while educating patients on postural control and device use.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with valid Texas license.
• DPT required; Doctorate earned after 2015.
• BLS certification required.
• Pelvic health certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days.
• Relevant experience in therapy and rehabilitation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and re-evaluations, track patient progress.
• Implement and modify therapy programs based on patient needs.
• Use equipment such as ultrasound, diathermy, whirlpools, and contrast baths.
• Educate patients on postural control, exercises, and device use.
• Assist in training medical staff, students, and volunteers in therapy techniques.
