Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Physician Assistant to support the Rio Rancho Clinic in orthopedic care. You will work under physician supervision in clinical and surgical settings, deliver high-quality patient care, and assist during procedures.

The role includes patient education and coordination of care with the surgical team. The position requires an AMA-accredited PA degree, NM PA license, and the ability to work flexible hours including some evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• MS Physician Assistant degree required.
• Orthopedic experience preferred.
• Graduate of AMA-accredited PA program; NM PA license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care in clinical/surgical settings.
• Assist with surgical procedures as needed.
• Perform pre- and post-operative patient care including wound care and monitoring.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans.
• Educate and counsel patients and families on care plans.
