Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care in an orthopedic setting in New Mexico. The role includes assisting with surgical procedures, performing pre- and post-operative care, and coordinating patient management across hospital rounds.

Qualified candidates have an MS Physician Assistant, NM license, and AMA-accredited PA program graduation. Orthopedic experience is preferred and certification costs are reimbursed by the company.

Qualifications

• MS Physician Assistant degree required.
• Orthopedic experience preferred.
• Graduate of AMA-accredited PA program and NM PA license required.
• PA certification must be maintained with costs reimbursed by the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care for acute and chronic conditions and follow physician directives.
• Assist with surgical procedures and ensure patient safety during operations.
• Perform pre- and post-operative patient care, wound care, and monitoring recovery progress.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans.
• Conduct hospital rounds and on-call medical support as needed.
