Job summary

OrthoIllinois, a division of Orthomidwest, is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide medical care and services independently and with physician supervision. The role includes initial and ongoing assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and assisting in orthopedic procedures in the operating room.

You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order labs, imaging, injections, suturing, wound care, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree is required.
• Current license to practice in Illinois.
• BLS, DEA and Controlled Substance certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats medical and surgical problems per Practice protocols.
• Provides patient-centered, compassionate care.
• Maintains a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients.

Education

Master's degree (M.A./M.S.) or equivalent from an accredited college or university

Current license to practice in the state of Illinois
