Qualifications

• Minimum two years orthopaedic experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of accredited physician assistant program.
• National certification from NCCPA.
• Current Kentucky state license.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused history and physical exams.
• Interpret lab and diagnostic data to form differential diagnoses.
• Formulate and implement treatment plans for orthopaedic conditions.
• Order and perform diagnostic studies including EMG, CT, MRI, and X-ray.
• Assist in surgery as directed by the orthopaedic surgeon.
• Conduct rounds, write orders, and manage inpatient care.
• Prescribe, dispense, and manage medications and orthopaedic devices.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure continuity of care.
