Job summary

Texas Joint Institute in Dallas–Fort Worth is seeking Physician Assistants to join our growing surgical and clinical teams across orthopedic traumatology, elective total joint replacement, and elective foot and ankle surgery.

These roles offer direct collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, hands-on surgical experience, and involvement from initial evaluation through recovery. Opportunities vary by subspecialty and include after-hours coverage and inpatient rounding per team needs.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) required or eligible for Texas licensure.
• Orthopedic surgery experience preferred.
• Surgical first assist experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, obtain histories, perform examinations, and develop treatment plans with supervising surgeon.
• Order and review diagnostic studies as appropriate.
• Conduct preoperative evaluations and postoperative follow-ups.
• Provide patient education on treatment options, prep, and recovery.
• Coordinate care with physicians, rehab providers, and hospital teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
