Texas Orthopaedic Associates, a division of OrthoLoneStar, is seeking a Physician Assistant – Clinical Coordinator in the Dallas area to provide clinical and surgical care under the supervision of an orthopaedic surgeon. The role includes clinic and telemedicine visits, perioperative support, and coordinating care across sites.

The position requires strong clinical judgment, precise documentation, and excellent communication to ensure patient safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• Two years orthopaedic experience preferred; surgical first-assist experience preferred.
• ARC-PA accredited PA program required; NCCPA certification.
• Texas license to practice as a PA with prescriptive authority; DEA registration may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage new and established patients in clinic and via telemedicine.
• Assist in surgery and provide perioperative and postoperative care.
• Coordinate clinical workflows, documentation templates, and staff procedures.
• Draft letters of medical necessity and clinical notes for surgical authorization.
• Triage postoperative concerns and respond to patient portal messages.
• Coordinate referrals to physical therapy and other providers; telemedicine follow-up as needed.
