Job summary

Dr. Shepherd Total Joint Replacement Clinic is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or APRN to provide advanced clinical care under physician supervision in Wichita, KS. You will diagnose, treat, and assist in surgeries, while coordinating with MAs and staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements include a master's degree (PA or nursing), KS licensure, NCCPA/AANP certification, and current BLS/ACLS. Prior orthopedic experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in PA studies or nursing for APRN licensure.
• Licensure in Kansas and national certification required to practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be current.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical histories and perform physical exams.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions with supervising physician.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.
• Assist in surgery and provide pre/post-operative care.
• Develop treatment plans and educate patients and families.
• Maintain EMR documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient clinic flow.
