Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide inpatient orthopaedic care, including consult coverage, patient rounding, and operating room first-assist duties. Occasional outpatient clinic coverage may be required.

The role supports a Monday–Friday schedule in a busy orthopaedic department, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited school/college of nursing or a PA program.
• Active APRN licensure and certifications as required.
• BLS certification required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient orthopaedic patient care including consults and rounding.
• Involve first-assist responsibilities in the operating room.
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostics per clinical privileges.
• Educate patients and families; participate in quality improvement and research.
