Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Physician Assistant to support physicians in outpatient clinics and hospital settings, performing initial evaluations, ordering tests, and assisting in surgical and perioperative care. The PA works under supervision, with responsibility for patient care per physician protocols.

The role requires IL licensure, NCCPA certification, residency, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple patients and coordinate across locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program with completed residency.
• Physician Assistant IL state licensure up to date
• Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Active Certification from NCCPA
• Active Licensure as Physician’s Assistant in the State of Illinois
• ACLS desirable; current CPR required

Responsibilities

• Assist in hospital/clinic settings under supervising physician.
• Dictates clinic progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Performs joint injections and interprets x-rays.
• Performs minor procedures and assists in surgery.
• Coordinate patient discharge and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with protocols.
