Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program with residency completed.
• Illinois state licensure as PA up to date; NCCPA certification.
• ACLS desirable; CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Surgeon in hospital rounds and major/minor procedures.
• Dictate H&P’s, consultations and discharge summaries.
• Orders/tests and develops treatment plans with physician approval.
• Coordinate patient discharge instructions and post-operative care.
