Job summary

CC-Carrell Clinic in Dallas, TX is seeking a Physician Assistant to support orthopedic physicians in delivering musculoskeletal care. You will perform clinical evaluations, assist in surgery, and coordinate treatment plans within Texas scope of practice.

The role includes managing follow-up care, documenting histories, and working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited PA program.
• Current, unrestricted Texas Physician Assistant license.
• NCCPA certification.
• DEA and DPS registrations for prescriptive authority, if applicable.
• BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical evaluations, histories, physicals, and orthopedic assessments.
• Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests (X-rays, MRIs, CTs, EMG/NCV, bone scans, labs).
• Assist in surgery and provide post-operative management and care coordination.
• Maintain compliant medical records per Texas Medical Board and PA Board rules.
• Collaborate with physicians, MAs, imaging staff, therapists, and admins to optimize patient flow.
