Job summary
Mercy Orthopedic Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients recovering from orthopedic and neurological conditions, develop individualized plans of care, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to maximize mobility and independence.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Missouri licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: six months to one year in PT in rehab, hospital, or ortho setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive PT evaluations following physician referral and standards.
- Develop individualized plans of care and treatment goals.
- Supervise Rehabilitation Technicians and PT Assistants per Missouri PT Practice Act.
- Provide evidence-based PT interventions and reassess progress regularly.
- Document treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries timely.
