Job summary

OrthoIndy Northwest in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Clinical Patient Services Coordinator for the OrthoIndy Support Services department. This full-time role at 8:30 am–5:30 pm involves scheduling surgeries, triaging patient questions, and ensuring smooth patient communication and documentation in EMR.

The position requires 2–4 years of healthcare experience (4–6 years preferred), a GED or high school diploma, and an LPN or Medical Assistant certification is required. Full benefits are included.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • LPN or Medical Assistant certification required.
  • 2-4 years of healthcare experience required; 4-6 years preferred.
  • Spine experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule all surgical procedures at designated facilities and obtain necessary medical clearances.
  • Manage surgery schedule and communicate pre-operative instructions to patients.
  • Triage patient questions and coordinate post-operative appointments.
  • Process patient prescription refill requests and coordinate referrals.
  • Maintain EMR documentation and coordinate with scheduling and authorization teams.
