Barbour Orthopaedics & Spine in Chamblee, GA is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our orthopedic team on a full-time basis. The PA will act as an extension of the physician to deliver high-level patient care, conduct comprehensive evaluations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising orthopedic physicians.

Responsibilities include pre/post-operative care, order/interpret diagnostics, assist in the OR, document encounters in EMR, and participate in patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Program.
• NCCPA certified.
• Active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in orthopaedics, urgent care, sports medicine, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations (history, physicals, diagnostics).
• Formulate treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Order/interpret diagnostic studies (X-rays, MRI, CT, labs).
• Provide pre/post-operative patient care and follow-up.
• Assist surgeons in the operating room, including first assist duties.
• Perform procedures such as joint injections, wound care, casting, splinting, suturing.
• Document encounters accurately in EMR and ensure care coordination.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
