Job summary

NP Now is seeking a Physician Assistant – First Assist for a full-time, permanent position in Surprise, AZ, close to Phoenix. The role includes assisting surgeons in orthopedic surgeries and providing comprehensive pre- and post-operative care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Physician Assistant / PA credential.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a surgical first assist.
• Strong procedural knowledge in orthopedic surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons in the OR, primarily for orthopedic cases.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative patient care in the Surgery Clinic.
• Manage patient assessments and follow‑up, both new and established patients.
• Perform clinical, procedural, and surgical tasks as needed.
• Work collaboratively with a team‑oriented surgical service staff.
