Twin Cities Orthopedics is seeking a Surgical Technologist to provide technical expertise and patient care in the OR at our Edina, MN facility. This full-time position offers an hourly range of $32.54–$48.80 and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

Essential duties include sterile setup, instrument handling, aseptic technique, and collaboration with the surgical team, with a focus on patient safety and efficient case flow. Requires NBSTSA certification and OR experience.

Competenze

• ARC/STSA or CAAHEP accredited surgical technology program is required.
• NBSTSA Surgical Technologist Certification is required.
• At least 1 year of Operating Room experience in the last 3 years.
• BLS certification or completion is required.

Mansioni

• Assist with obtaining equipment and supplies for procedures and prepare the surgical suite.
• Prepare sterile instrument tables and check instruments and supplies for cleanliness and function.
• Ensure all instruments and supplies are complete before incision.
• Maintain aseptic environment throughout intraoperative care.
• Assist surgeons and team during all phases of surgery.
• Demonstrate ability to anticipate needs of the surgical team during procedures.
• Label medications per policy and operate specialty OR instruments as needed.
• Handle specimens per policy and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist with OR turnover and post-case cleanup.
• Support Circulating Nurse during procedures and decontaminate/inspect instruments for sterilization.

Formazione

ARC/STSA or CAAHEP accredited surgical technology program

Equivalent military education

NBSTSA Surgical Technologist Certification

1 year OR experience in the last 3 years

Current member of the ST (preferred)

Current BLS certification or completed upon request
