Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking a registered nurse to join our team in both scrub and circulating roles. Shifts include days and afternoons with on-call duties and weekend/holiday rotations; on-call response time is 45 minutes.

You will deliver holistic patient care, develop and revise plans, educate patients and families, and document in the EMR while collaborating across disciplines to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in Michigan.
• Must commit to obtaining BSN within five years of hire/transfer.
• Active BLS certification and Michigan nursing license are required.

Responsibilities

• View patients holistically and assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, age and cultural needs.
• Demonstrate critical thinking to gather and analyze patient information and respond to situations.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans using evidence-based interventions.
• Identify education needs and teach patients and families accordingly.
• Utilize EMR documentation and communicate status and goals to the care team.
• Create a positive environment and promote teamwork and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate discharge planning and ensure readiness with other disciplines.
