Requirements include ADN or higher, an active Colorado RN license, and OR nursing experience. Ability to work in a high-altitude setting and a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Must have ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active Colorado RN license or ability to obtain before start date.
• BLS certification (could be obtained on hire).
• Experience or formal training in operative room nursing.
• Ability to work safely in high-altitude environments (approx. 8,000 ft).

Aufgaben

• Provide perioperative nursing care including scrub and circulating roles during orthopedic surgeries.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff for smooth operations.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control standards.
• Document care and procedures in medical records (EPIC).
• Participate in ongoing perioperative training to maintain competencies.
• Prepare and maintain operating room environment and equipment.
