Job summary

Trinity Park Surgery Center in Arlington, TX is seeking an Operating Room Nurse specializing in orthopedic cases. The role supports circulating or scrub duties, ensuring safe, high-quality nursing care until patients transfer to recovery.

Candidates should have an accredited nursing degree, at least 1 year OR experience, and an active RN license with BCLS; ACLS as required. CNOR preferred, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the HCA Healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience, ambulatory setting preferred.
• Active RN license as required by state or compact licensure.
• BCLS certification required at employment (online not acceptable).
• ACLS as required by facility; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients before surgery.
• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Prepare patient for surgery including IV therapy and meds.
• Participate in surgical time-out and universal protocols.
• Respond to patient emergencies with clinical judgment.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, techs and interdisciplinary team.
• Apply nursing process and leadership in care.
• Monitor patient condition and document changes.
• Educate on treatment and follow-up care.
