Job summary

The CORE Institute is seeking a Circulating Nurse to support perioperative care in the OR. You will work with surgeons, anesthesia, and scrub staff to maintain a sterile field and ensure safe patient care.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Nursing, active RN license in the state, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Prior acute OR experience and orthopedic exposure are preferred. HOPCo’s comprehensive benefits are available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three years acute OR experience; 12 months as RN in Orthopedic preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe patient care within the peri-op unit and maintain sterile field.
• Serve as resource to teammates, scrub staff and physicians; support OR safety.
• Precept, mentor, and orient staff to promote team development.
• Keep surgical area clean and organized; assist with instrument handling.
