Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking an Orthopedics NP/PA to join a multidisciplinary team in Jonesville, NC. You will participate in patient examinations, provide first-assist support in the OR, and deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care under physician supervision.

The position involves working with a regional orthopedic team, split between clinic and operating room duties, with goals of professional growth and impact within Advocate Health’s extensive network.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, NCCPA certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required to start; DEA and DPS registrations required to start.

Responsibilities

• Participates in team-focused patient care with examinations and diagnostic/therapeutic interventions in surgical settings.
• Provide first-assist surgical support on designated OR days, with outpatient clinic responsibilities.
• Under physician supervision, deliver direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care to patients.
• Collaborate with cast tech and radiology tech; orthopedic team includes multiple APPs and physicians.
