Job summary

Atrium Health invites applications for an Orthopedics NP/PA in Jonesville, NC. The role involves patient examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and first-assist surgical support in the OR with outpatient clinic responsibilities.

Duration includes 4 days per week, extended hours, and minimum 36 patient-facing hours. Competitive base salary with annual bonus incentives, CME reimbursement up to $2,500, and generous PTO in a large nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program; Master’s preferred for PA or NP role.
• Current NC Medical Board Medical License or NC Board of Nursing license.
• Board certification as PA (NCCPA) or NP (AANP/ANCC) is required to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide team-based patient care with examinations and diagnostic/therapeutic evaluations.
• Deliver first-assist surgical support on designated OR days and outpatient clinic duties.
• Under physician supervision, deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care to patients.
