Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant I for per diem coverage in the Orthopedic Surgery department in Bridgewater. You will handle patient intake, document vitals, and support both clinical and front-desk operations.

Qualified candidates possess a high school diploma and a national CMA certification. Associate’s degree and 1 year health-care experience are preferred. Per diem shift is 8am-4pm, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• National CMA certification from an accredited program is required.
• CCMA credentials from any of the listed certifying bodies.

Responsibilities

• Take patient vital signs and document accurately.
• Record medical information and test results.
• Assist with clinic visits and front desk tasks as needed.
• Obtain prior authorizations for testing or medications.
