You will room patients, record vitals, document in EMR (NextGen), and assist with procedures. A technical medical assisting program and strong communication are required; EMR experience and proactive teamwork are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Completion of a technical medical assisting program.
• Strong communication with staff, physicians and patients.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize workflow in a fast-paced team environment.
• EMR experience, preferably NextGen.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vitals.
• Document patient information in EMR.
• Assist and set up procedures.
• Arrange and pre-certify MRIs, CRs and DMEs as needed.
• Assist front office in checking patients in/out and scheduling.
• Rx refills through physician.
